Bent Creek Blue Marlins

Sadie comes to practice everyday and works very hard. She sets a great example for her teammates by always helping however she can and doing everything with a great attitude. She consistently gives her best no matter the circumstances. Sadie had a great meet last night and raced well- dropping lots of time! Great job Sadie!!

Hunter comes to practice each day and gives his best effort. He listens well to advice the coaches give him and is constantly working to improve. Hunter had a great meet and raced very well last night- dropping lots of time! Great job Hunter!!

Mae comes to practice and works very hard. She sets a great example for her teammates through her actions and encouragement. Mae had great races last night with great finishes! We’re so proud of Mae for her hard work and the thankful for the example she sets for others!

Luke always works hard during practice. He asks questions about how to get better and is always looking for ways to improve. Luke had a great meet last night and dropped lots of time! We’re so proud of Luke for how much he has improved and his hard work!

Lily is new to our team and has been having a great season so far! She has jumped right in and been working very hard. She is always asking questions, eager to learn, and not afraid to try new things. We’re so proud of Lily for how much she has improved this season and that she has joined our team!

Ethan has been working so hard this season and has improved so much! He always works very hard at practice and sets a great example for his teammates. He gives his best every time he swims and sets a great example for his teammates through his actions. We’re so proud of Ethan!

Leighton always comes to practice and works hard. She always tries her best and has been working to improve all season. Her hard work paid off this week as she dropped time in all of her events. We are so proud of Leighton and her hard work!

Aaron always comes to practice with a good attitude and ready to work hard. Aaron has been working so hard to legally swim breaststroke and butterfly this season. This week, he accomplished this goal. We are so proud of Aaron for his hard work and reaching his goal!

MJ is not only a great swimmer but she is also an amazing teammate. She swam fast at this past meet and cheered for all her teammates in between her races. She sets an example as a great teammate both in and out of the water. Her positive spirit and enthusiasm is a big part of our teams atmosphere and we are so grateful to have her! Way to go MJ!

Michael always shows up with a great attitude and comes to practice prepared to work hard. He swam super fast this past meet and his effort was seen by everyone on the pool deck. Even when he felt tired Michael finished all his races strong and got new best times. He works on small details at practice and reflects that with his speedy swims during meets. We are so proud of you Michael!

Mae always works hard at practice and comes with a great attitude. She always tries her best and sets a great example for her teammates through her actions. Her hard work paid off as she dropped lots of time at the meet this week! We are so proud of Mae and thankful for the great teammate she is!

Curtis always tries his best and never gives up when it is hard. He always keeps trying and pushes through instead of giving up. This week his hard work paid off as he swam breaststroke legally and dropped lots of time. Great job, Curtis!

Adley has improved so much already this season. She always comes to practice with a good attitude and gives her best effort. Adley has been working so hard these past few weeks to improve her freestyle and backstroke. Her hard work paid off last night as she dropped a total of 44 seconds! We are so proud of her and excited to see how she improves the rest of the season!

Connor comes to practice everyday ready to work hard. He is always asking the coaches questions about how to get better, listens closely to what we tell him and encourages his teammates. His hard work paid off last night as he dropped a total of 24 seconds. We are so proud of him and thankful for the example he sets for his teammates.

Alice always tries her best during practice and has a positive attitude. She always gives her best effort during practice. Her hard work paid off at the meet as she had great swims. We are so proud of Alice and the great example she sets for her teammates.

Mahmoud is new to our team this summer and has been working so hard these past few weeks. He has shown up to practice each day with a good attitude and works hard each day. He has improved so much since the first practice and we are so proud of his hard work!

Everly is always setting a good example for others during practice and at meets through listening carefully, trying her best, and encouraging others. Her hard work paid off last night as she dropped lots of time! We are so proud of her and thankful for the example she sets for others!

Aarush always works his hardest and is finding ways to push himself. Along with this he is always looking for ways to help and encouraging those around him to do their best. We are so proud of Aarush and thankful for the example he sets for others!

Anjani is always giving her best. She is always asking questions to see how she can improve. She sets clear goals for herself and works hard until she reaches them. This week her hard work paid off as she reached so many of her goals! We are so proud of her!

Charles is always working hard. He has set big goals and is constantly working hard to reach his goals. He never gives up when it is hard or there is a set back. We are so proud of Charles for his determination and can't wait to see what else he accomplishes this season!

Avery is new to our team this year and has already improved so much this year! She always comes to practice ready to work hard, is not afraid to try new things, and always gives her best. We’re so proud of Avery and her determination!

Asher always works hard at practice and is always listening. He is constantly working to get better and has shown so much improvement this season. We are so proud of Asher and can’t wait to see what else he accomplishes this year!

Reagan always works hard at practice and is someone we know that we can count on to help. She is always looking for ways to help others and is encouraging her teammates. We are so thankful for Reagan and the teammate she is to others.

James is new to the team this year and is always eager to learn about how to improve his strokes. This week James took the initiative to lead his group in dry land and encouraged them along the way. We're so glad James joined us this year and can't wait to see how much he grows this season!

Ava Kate always listens closely at practice and consistently gives her best. This paid off this week as she had a great meet, dropping time in all of her events. We are so proud of her for all her hard work!

James always comes to practice ready to work and give it his best. He sets a great example for others through his work ethic and his actions. We are so proud of James for all his hard work and can't wait to see what he accomplishes this season!

Caity always comes to practice and works hard. She continually has a good attitude. Along with us, Caity has been a huge help during guppies this summer and is always looking for ways that she can help out!

Chase has done absolutely amazing this season! He comes to practice with a great attitude and always works super hard. He has been working up to swimming backstroke in a meet and he accomplished that on Thursday! We are very proud of Chase!

Autumn is a new swimmer with us this season and she has already improved so much! Autumn comes to practice with a great attitude and is always ready to work. She is a very good listener and works very hard to learn new things correctly. She is also an amazing backstroker which is shown through her very high backstroke ranking among all of SAIL. We are very proud of Autumn!

Josh comes to practice every day with an amazing, ready to work attitude. He is new to the team and continues to improve each week. Josh has already greatly surpassed the goal that he set for himself this season. Josh is very driven and always puts 100% effort into his swimming. He even cut 11 seconds in Thursday’s meet! We are extremely proud of Josh for all his hard work!

Lilia always works hard and keeps a positive attitude. She has been working all summer to swim breaststroke legally and accomplished that this week! We are so proud of Lilia for her hard work!

Siddhu sets a great example for others through his positive attitude at practice and meets. He is always asking what he can do to improve. He dropped lots of time this week. We are very proud of him and thankful for the example he sets for others!

Sadie has continued to work hard during practices and meets. She has set goals for herself, many of which she has already surpassed. Sadie did amazing in Thursday's meet, dropping a total of 17 seconds! She always comes to practice with a smile on her face and always does what she is asked and more. We are very proud of Sadie!

Collin is an extremely hard worker and he puts 100% effort into everything he does! He always comes to practice ready to learn and try new things and never complains. This season is Collin’s first season with the Blue Marlins and he has already shown so much improvement. Along with this, he even practices new skills outside of team practice and is always looking for ways to be better. We are so proud of Collin!

Lexi always comes to practice with a good attitude and a great work ethic. She is always asking what she can do to improve and helps clean up after practice. Along with this, Lexi had a phenomenal meet last night and dropped lots of time! We are very proud of Lexi for how hard she works and the example she sets for her teammates.

Peyton has set several goals for the summer and has already shown how hard he is working to accomplish these goals! His hard work paid off last night as he dropped lots of time and had a great meet! Peyton is always working hard in practice and never fails to have a good attitude. We are so proud of Peyton for his hard work and the positive example he sets.

Gwen comes to practice each day with a smile and ready to work hard. She set a goal of legally swimming butterfly this week and worked very hard to accomplish this goal. She was always asking how to improve and practiced it whenever she had the chance. She always sets a positive example for her teammates at practice and is encouraging them to do their best. We are so proud of Gwen for her hard work and thankful for the positivity and encouragement she brings!

It was so inspiring to see Eli’s determination and work ethic at practice this week! He set a goal to swim the 100IM and worked hard each and every day to make sure all his techniques were legal. He listened to us to make any corrections and had a positive attitude all week. Even when his goggles fell off during his race, he pushed through and swam the entire event legally. We are so proud of Eli and all he has accomplished this summer!

Reagan always works so hard and has a positive attitude. She always comes to practice prepared and does not give up when it gets hard. She has dropped so much time this summer and broke the backstroke record for her age group this week. We are so proud of how hard she works and thankful for the positive example she sets for her teammates!

Wyatt has continued to work hard and do his best all season. Even when he is unable to swim, he has still come to the pool to support his teammates and friends. Wyatt’s hard work has been seen in huge time drops the last few meets. We are very excited to watch what Wyatt will do in the last two meets of the season and always enjoy his positive attitude!

Addie has grown so much as a swimmer in three short weeks. She has such an amazing attitude each and every day at practice and comes with a smile on face all the time. She is willing to try new things and new events, and does great at them! Addie has set goals this summer and has continuously worked hard to accomplish the goals she sets. We are so happy Addie is on our team this year and look forward to seeing her improvement the rest of the season.

Carston continues to put hard work in all season. He recently made a goal of completing 100 IM and succeeded at the last meet with an amazing time! He always puts in his best effort at practice and is encouraging to his teammates! We are excited to see what goals Carston has next and watch him accomplish them!

Caity is a joy to have at practice each and every day. She comes to almost every single practice and works her hardest at each and every one. She always asks us to help her with things she is struggling with and we can tell that she really wants to improve her swimming as much as possible. Caity also is amazing with our guppy swimmers and comes early in the morning to work with them. We are so glad that Caity is on our team this year!

Loudon has been an amazing swimmer to coach this year. He has be coming to practice and trying his best as well as putting his full effort into races at meets. He is great with our guppy swimmers and comes early every day to help give them tips. It has been so great to watch Louden improve this season and through the years at Bent Creek!

Makayla always comes to practice ready to work hard and with a good attitude. She is not afraid to try new things and is always asking for tips on how to improve. We are so thankful for the positivity and determination she consistently brings each day!

Matthew continuously works hard during practice and is always thinking about what he can do to get better. He brings a positive and encouraging attitude each day. We are so proud of Matthew and how hard he has been working!

Everly is always listening during practice and always puts forth her best effort. She keeps trying even when it gets hard. She has made so much progress this summer! We are so proud of her determination and how much she has improved this summer!

Dalton is always willing to help us in any way. Not only is he willing to help, he is also often looking for ways that he can help. Dalton is always encouraging others and we are so thankful for the example he sets by being helpful and encouraging.

Logan always comes to practice ready to work hard and is always working to improve his swimming. His hard work paid off this week as he cut lots of time in all of his events. Logan is such a hard worker and we are so proud of him!

Chloe has worked so hard this week to learn how to swim butterfly and swam butterfly and IM legally this week. She has worked so hard to accomplish this and we are so proud of her!

Norah always comes to practice and gives it her best effort. She always listens during practice. Norah works hard to accomplish her goals and cut so much time at the meet this week! We are so proud of how hard she works and her motivation to get better!

Landon continuously works very hard at practices and does not stop when it gets hard. Landon listens well to instruction and constantly is asking how he can get better. Landon’s hard work paid off this week as he cut so much time in all of his events! We are so proud of Landon for the example he sets by being a good listener and working hard.

Corinn is always looking for ways to get better and working hard to improve. This week she cut so much time and worked to improve her dive. Along with this, she is always willing to help clean up after practice and asking how she can help. We are so proud of Corinn's hard word and thankful for her positive attitude!

Suhaas always comes to practice ready to work hard and never complains. He takes every correction well and really tries to make his stoke better every day. He has seen amazing progress in his dives and his turns and recently has stepped up in a big way by swimming on relays this week.

Tessa always comes to practice with a positive attitude and brings her best effort. Tessa is very determined and always looking for new ways to improve. She has dropped tons of time this season and we are so proud of her improvement!

Hunter always puts forth his best effort during practice and is never heard complaining- no matter how hard it is. Along with this, he is always willing to help in any way he can. We are so thankful for Hunter’s willingness to help and the positive role model he is during practice.

Caroline has worked so hard this season to learn how to legally swim breaststroke. This week she achieved her goal of doing this and we are so proud of her! Caroline showed great persistence in doing this and never gave up!

Sai has worked so hard this week to learn new ways to become a better swimmer! He is constantly challenging himself and asking questions about how to improve. Sai has shown constant determination this season and it has paid off! 

Emily showed so much determination this week. Since we had two meets this week, Emily noticed areas that she needed to improve on and worked hard to improve for the second meet on Thursday. We are so proud of her persistence this week to improve her stroke!

Dalton is always willing to help and shows great initiative! This week he stepped up to help in many different ways. We really appreciate and are thankful for Dalton's initiative and the positive attitude he always has!

Emilie shows great effort during practice, listens well, and is a great role model for others during practice. Emilie always does what is asked of her without complaining. She has also blown us away by her great improvement so far this season! We are so excited to see her progress throughout the rest of the season!

Dominic always comes to practice eager to improve his stroke and ready to put forth his best effort. Dominic has shown tremendous improvement over the past few weeks and did fantastic in the meet on Thursday. We can’t wait to see how he grows as a swimmer this season and are so proud of his progress so far!

Ava has been doing a great job at practices, and she shows a determination that inspires her lane. She can be relied upon to give a great effort at practice and to try her hardest to keep up with difficult intervals. When the going gets though, Ava gets going.

Ethan is very determined in practice, listens to instruction well and enjoys helping out after practice. He is a great role model for our younger swimmers and even though he is still new to the sport, never complains or gets discouraged. We are so proud of how far he has come this season and look forward to his future on this team. 

Kelsey is one of our swimmers who began swim team when we first started several years ago and she has grown tremendously in the sport. Not only is she a talented swimmer, but she always comes in early before practice and leaves later to help in any way she can. She works hard during practice and listens well. She is also one of our older kids who help with the guppy team and is a great role model to the younger swimmers. 

Will has shown a great effort in practice. His turns are diligent, his starts on time, and his finishes to the wall. Even when practice was getting the tough, he would continue to put forth his best effort: swimming the things asked of him with no complaining.

Maddie always works extremely hard in every practice. She is very driven in and outside of team practice and always takes coach's guidance and applies it with 100% effort. She always has a good attitude and has made so many improvements already this season. 

Hunter has shown a great deal of discipline by swimming in the 11 & Up practice, and I have not heard a single grumble about the harder workout. He has also shown a great amount of effort by swimming the whole practices, too, keeping resting to a minimum.

This week Zoe Enge has earned our swimmer of the week award because of all her hard work and attentiveness in practice. She is eager to learn and improve; this is shown through her enthusiasm to practice with an older age group and keeping up with them. We are very proud of her and looking forward to a great season for Zoe!

Bronx has shown a great deal of enthusiasm and discipline in practice. Instead of him asking what is left in practice, he asks what the next thing is, showing that he is not worried about leaving but enthused about what is to come. On top of this, at this past meet, he bravely conquered the 100 IM, something extremely impressive for his age.
